CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) ACTION STATEMENT
At Chesapeake Chauffeured Transportation, we have prided ourselves in our service to provide safe, clean and professional private transportation for our clientele.  As our community (and the world) takes unprecedented measures to stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the health of our clients and employees remains a top priority.  We are taking these steps to provide our clientele with enhanced health safety measures to continue this commitment.

We trust that these added measures will provide a safe and germ-free environment, and allow our clientele added peace-of-mind to continue to rest-easy while leaving the driving to us.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey R. Medved
President
We’ve enhanced our standards and procedures for vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.  Our vehicle interiors  continue to be cleaned with 260°F steam, derived from distilled water.  This hot steam kills dust mites, mold, mildew, viruses, and other allergens on contact, as well as removing most dirt, grime and odors.  This steam cleaning regiment is now a part of daily vehicle preparation.

Each vehicle is supplied with an aerosol disinfectant which will be applied to the vehicle interior prior to client pick-up.  In addition, contact surfaces in the interior will be treated with disinfectant wipes.  We expect the odor from these disinfectants to dissipate quickly, and we apologize in-advance for any lingering disinfectant odor.
Our chauffeurs hygiene regiment is enhanced with best-practice handwashing.  As a precaution to our clientele and chauffeurs, we will decline to greet our clients with a hand-shake.
We will no longer stock spare bottled water in the passenger compartment; we will stock 1-bottled water per passenger upon their ingress to the vehicle.  The remaining stock will be stored in the luggage compartment to limit handling of these bottles prior the our clientele's consumption.  Of course, additional water will continue to be provided to our clientele for consumption (upon request) throughout their travel with us.
Our vehicles continue to be stocked with Purell hand sanitizer dispensers in the passenger compartment, as well as Wet Ones wipes.
By order of the Governor of the State of Maryland, we are unable to enter the Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) airport terminal to greet our clientele.  Only ticketed passengers and badged airport employees are allowed into the terminal until further notice.  Therefore, all client pick-ups at BWI airport will be met at the curbside.  As a best-practice for the health and safety of our chauffeurs, we will extend this practice to ALL major airport and rail stations until further notice.
We will strive to accomodate any additional client request to enhance the germ-free environment in our vehicles.  Please let our reservation or chauffeur staff know your concern.
